| 1 | PREHEAT oven to 350?F. |

| 3 | COMBINE flour, baking powder, salt and mace in medium bowl. |
| 4 | Beat sugar, butter and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy. |
| 5 | Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. |
| 6 | Beat in flour mixture alternately with evaporated milk. |
| 7 | Pour into prepared loaf pan; sprinkle with nuts. |
| 8 | BAKE for 60 to 70 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. |
| 9 | Cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely. |
