Braised Beef with Leeks

Ingredients:
2 lbsbeef for braising, cut into big cubes
2 lbsleeks
xsalt and pepper
1/2 cupwhite wine
2 tsptomato paste
1/2 xonion, peeled
xbay leaf and clove
1/2 cupwater
Procedures:
1Peel and trim the leeks. Cut lengthwise into quarters. Wash well, then cut crosswise into 1 inch sections.
2Place beef, leeks, wine, water, tomato paste and onion in the pressure cooker. Season with salt and pepper. Add a bay leaf and clove.
3Heat until simmering, then pressure-cook at low for about 50 minutes to one hour.
4Transfer contents to a serving dish, arranging the pieces of beef on top.
