Holiday Fruit Cake

Ingredients:
2 cupssifted flour
2 tspbaking powder
1/2 tspsalt
1 tspground nutmeg
1/2 tspcinnamon powder
1 cupdried candied pineapple
1 cupcandied red cherries, halved
1 cupcandied green cherries, halved
1 cupdried raisins
1 cuppecan halves
1 cupQuaker Oats, quick or old fashioned
4 xeggs
2 cupbrown sugar
1/2 cupcorn oil
1 cupmilk
Procedures:
1Line bottom of a tube pan (10-inch) with waxed paper.
2Grease and flour well.
3Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and spices.
4Add candied fruits, raisins, pecans and oats; stir to coat evenly with flour mixture.
5Beat eggs until light and fluffy; gradually beat in sugar, oil and milk.
6Add to fruit mixture; blend well.
7Pour batter into prepared pan.
8Bake in preheated slow oven (300°F) for about 2 hours.
9Loosen edges with a knife. Cool thoroughly before removing from pan.
10Wrap fruitcake tightly and store in a cool place.
11Makes one loaf / cake.
