Ingredients:

| cup | margarine | | 4
| tbsp | brown sugar | | 1
| can | Sliced pineapple (16 oz) | | 1/4
| cup | glazed cherries | | 1 1/4
| cup | flour | | 3/4
| cup | sugar | | 2
| tsp | baking powder | | 1/4
| tsp | salt | | 1
| x | egg | | 1/3
| cup | oil | | 1/2
| tsp | vanilla extract | | 1/2
| tsp | almond extract |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cut 2 circles of waxed paper to fit bottom of microwaveable 8 inch round cake pan. | | 2 | Place margarine on waxed paper. | | 3 | Microwave on high, 45 seconds; sprinkle brown sugar on melted margarine and arrange pineapple slices on sugar, add cherries to center of pineapple slices. | | 4 | Put flour, granulated sugar baking powder and salt in mixing bowl. | | 5 | Blend together egg, oil, pineapple juice and extracts. | | 6 | Pour into dry ingredients and blend with wooden spoon. | | 7 | Pour batter over pineapple slices. | | 8 | Microwave at 50% (medium) 5 minutes. | | 9 | Rotate disk once. | | 10 | Microwave on high, 4 to 4 ?minutes, rotating dish twice. | | 11 | Let stand in pan 5 minutes. | | 12 | Invert onto serving plate. | | 13 | Peel off wax paper if it comes out with cake. | | 14 | Garnish with more cherries, if desired. |
