Ingredients:
| 1/2
| lbs | fettucini (or spaghetti) noodles | | 1/4
| cup | chopped fresh basil | | 1
| tbsp | chopped garlic | | 1/3
| cup | cream | | 1/4
| cup | grated parmesan cheese | | 2
| tbsp | butter | | 3
| tbsp | olive oil | | x | salt and pepper |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cook the fettucini noodles in boiling water as per package directions. Drain, then sprinkle with olive oil and toss. | | 2 | Melt butter in a non-stick pan. Saute the chopped garlic over high heat for 1 minute. Add the chopped basil, then continue sauteeing for another minute. | | 3 | Add cream, then bring to a quick boil. | | 4 | Place pasta noodles in a large serving dish. Pour cream sauce on top. Add grated parmesan cheese, then season with salt and pepper. Toss and serve. | | 5 | Garnish with some basil leaves. |
