Fettucini with Basil and Cream Sauce

Ingredients:
1/2 lbsfettucini (or spaghetti) noodles
1/4 cupchopped fresh basil
1 tbspchopped garlic
1/3 cupcream
1/4 cupgrated parmesan cheese
2 tbspbutter
3 tbspolive oil
xsalt and pepper
Procedures:
1Cook the fettucini noodles in boiling water as per package directions. Drain, then sprinkle with olive oil and toss.
2Melt butter in a non-stick pan. Saute the chopped garlic over high heat for 1 minute. Add the chopped basil, then continue sauteeing for another minute.
3Add cream, then bring to a quick boil.
4Place pasta noodles in a large serving dish. Pour cream sauce on top. Add grated parmesan cheese, then season with salt and pepper. Toss and serve.
5Garnish with some basil leaves.
