Ingredients:

beef sirloin - about 3/4 lbs

cooking oil

tbsp
butter

tsp
flour

shallots, peeled/ sliced into rings
1/2
cup
red wine
x
salt and pepper for seasoning
Procedures:

Season the beef with salt and pepper.

Heat oil and butter in a large pan. Add the steak and sear both sides using high heat, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

Remove the steak, then saute the shallots in the same pan for about 2 minutes.

Add the flour, then pour in the wine and simmer for about 10-12 minutes.

Pour over the steak. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Serve with baked potatoes and salad.
