| x | toasted bread slices | | 4
| x | cooked ham slices (thick) | | 4
| slice | swiss cheese | | 1
| cup | grated cheese (gruyere or mozarella) | | 1
| tbsp | butter | | x | pepper, for seasoning | | 4
| tsp | butter | | 4
| large | eggs |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 400 F. | | 2 | Spread butter on half of the bread slices. Place a slice of ham and swiss cheese on top. | | 3 | On the other half of the bread slices, sprinkle grated cheese and top with a dash of ground black pepper. | | 4 | Place all bread slices on a baking tray, then bake in the oven using top heat, until the cheese is bubbly (about 2-3 minutes). | | 5 | Place the bread slice with grated cheese on the ham and cheese toast to make a sandwich. | | 6 | Panfry eggs in butter - sunny side up. Season the egg with salt and pepper, then carefully place on top of the cheese toast as shown in the picture. | | 7 | Arrange on serving plates. |
