Pumpkin pie biscotti

Ingredients:
3 1/2 cupFlour
1 1/2 cupBrown sugar, packed
2 tspBaking powder
1/2 tspSalt
2 tspPumpkin pie spice
1/2 cupCanned pumpkin
2 largeEggs, lightly beaten
1 tbspVanilla
2 tbspButter or margarine
1 1/4 cupMacadamia nuts, coarsely
-chopped
Procedures:
1Recipe by: christmas with southern living 1996 preparation time: 1:30 combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well.
2Combine pumpkin, eggs and vanilla; stirring well with a wire whisk.
3Slowly add pumpkin mixture to flour mixture, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
4(mixture will be very crumbly; it will gradually become moist after stirring).
5melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add macadamia nuts.
6Cook, stirring constantly, until nuts are browned.
7Remove from heat, and cool completely.
8Knead or gently stir cooled nuts into dough.
9place dough on a lightly floured surface, and divide into 4 portions.
10Lightly flour hands, and shape each portion into a 1" x 15" slightly flattened log.
11Place logs 3" apart on lightly greased large cookie sheets.
12bake at 350?for 23 minutes; cool logs 15 minutes.
13Reduce oven temperature to 300?
14cut each log crosswise into ? slices, using a serrated knife.
15Place slices on ungreased cookie sheets.
16Bake at 300?for 15 minutes.
17Cool completely on wire racks.
