Apple Walnut Bread

Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter or margarine
2/3 cupsugar
2 Eggs
2 Apples, peeled and chopped
1/2 cupGrated Cheddar cheese
1/3 cupChopped walnuts
2 cupFlour
1 tspBaking powder
1/2 tspBaking Soda
1/2 tspSalt
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350°F.
2In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar, beating until light.
3Beat in eggs, one at a time.
4Stir in chopped apples, cheese and nuts.
5In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
6Gradually and gently stir into apple mixture. Mix well.
7Pour into a greased 9 by 5 3-inch loaf pan.
8Bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes.
9Cool on a wire rack and cut into 1-inch slices.
