Ingredients:

| cup | Butter or margarine | | 2/3
| cup | sugar | | 2
| | Eggs | | 2
| | Apples, peeled and chopped | | 1/2
| cup | Grated Cheddar cheese | | 1/3
| cup | Chopped walnuts | | 2
| cup | Flour | | 1
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1/2
| tsp | Baking Soda | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 350°F. | | 2 | In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar, beating until light. | | 3 | Beat in eggs, one at a time. | | 4 | Stir in chopped apples, cheese and nuts. | | 5 | In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. | | 6 | Gradually and gently stir into apple mixture. Mix well. | | 7 | Pour into a greased 9 by 5 3-inch loaf pan. | | 8 | Bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes. | | 9 | Cool on a wire rack and cut into 1-inch slices. |
