Bisque of Artichoke and Shrimps

Ingredients:
4 tbspbutter
1 onion, chopped
2 potatoes, cut into 1/2 (1cm) cubes
14 ozcan artichoke hearts, drained
3 cupsmilk
1/2 tsppaprika
1/4 tspfreshly ground black pepper
4 ozpeeled and cooked small shrimp (for garnish)
1 tbspchopped chives (for garnish)
Procedures:
1Melt butter in a alrge sauceopan. Add onion and potato and cook gently for 5 minutes.
2Stir in artichoke hearts, milk, paprika and pepper. Bring soup to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
3Put soup in a blender or food processor. Return to a clean pan and heat gently.
4When ready to serve, bring soup to a boil. Set aside a few shrimp for garnish and add remainder to soup. As soon as they are heated through, ladle soup into heated bowls. Garnish with chives and reserved shrimp.
