Stir-fried Pork Orientale

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbsPork loin, sliced
4 tbspSoy sauce, light
4 tbspMirin, Japanese rice wine
1 Onion, large
2 tbspButter
1 cupCabbage, shredded
2 Green bell pepper
Procedures:
1Slice the pork loin into 1-inch squares.
2Mix the soy sauce and the rice wine. Set aside.
3Cut the green bell pepper. Remove the seeds, and cut into half-inch cubes.
4Peel the onion, and make thin slices - "julienne".
5Heat the butter in the frying pan, and stir-fry the pork slices until pork starts to brown.
6Add the cabbage, onions and bell pepper cubes and continue to stir-fry.
7Pour in the wine and soy sauce, and continue to saute until well done.
8Serve with steamed white rice.
