Wholewheat spaghetti with garlic, hot pepper & broccoli

Ingredients:
16 ozWholewheat spaghetti
1 largeBunch broccoli, cut into
-- small florets
8 eachGarlic cloves, chopped
1/4 cupOlive oil
1 eachDried hot red chili, broken
-- into several pieces
Salt & pepper
Procedures:
1Cook the spaghetti until half done; add the broccoli & continue cooking until both pasta & broccoli are *al dente*.
2Meanwhile, heat the garlic in the olive oil with the red chili.
3When the garlic is golden, remove the pan from the heat & remove the bits of chili.
4Discard the chili & set the oil aside.
5Drain the pasta & broccoli & toss with the reserved garlic.
6Season with salt & pepper & serve immediately.
