Wild rice with mushrooms (satterly/maclellan)

Ingredients:
1/2 cupWild rice
1 1/2 cupWater
1 tspSoy sauce
1 tspWorcestershire sauce
1 tbspGhee
1/2 cupMushrooms, sliced
2 tbspGreen peppers, chopped
1 smallOnion, chopped
1 tspBasil
1 tbspParsley
Procedures:
1Wash rice well in several changes of cold water.
2Strain & ensure that all dirt & stones have been removed.
3combine rice with water.
4Add the soy sauce & worcesterhire sauce.
5Bring to a boil, reduce heat.
6Cover and simmer for 70 minutes.
7meanwhile, using a skillet, heat the ghee until hot.
8Add mushrooms & onion & saute for 2 minutes.
9Add the green pepper & continue to saute for another 3 minutes, until the onion is softened.
10Toss in the basil & parsley.
11Stir & remove from heat.
12when the rice has softened & the water has almost been evaporated, stir in the saute mixture.
13Let simmer for another 5 minutes.
14Serve.
