Spaghetti with meat sauce 1h16 (slo-cooker)

Ingredients:
2 lbsGround beef
4 eachTomatoes, canned
4 eachMed Carrot, cut in chunks
4 eachMed Onions, quartered
4 eachGarlic cloves, minced
2 eachTomato paste, canned
1/4 cupParsley, snipped
2 eachBay leaf
2 tbspSugar
2 tspBasil, crushed
1 1/2 tspSalt
1 tspOregano, dried, crushed
1 dashPepper
1/4 cupCold water
1/4 cupCorn starch
1 xHot cooked spaghetti
1 xGrated parmesan cheese
Procedures:
1Fat grams per serving: approx. cook time: 10hrs in skillet brown the ground beef; drain off excess fat.
2Transfer meat to a crockery cooker.
3In blender container place one can of tomatoes, undrained.
4Add the onion, carrot and garlic.
5Cover and blend till chopped; stir into meat in cooker.
6Cut up the remaining can of tomatoes but do not drain; stir into meat mixture with tomato paste, parsley, bay leaf, sugar, basil, salt, oregano, and pepper.
7Mix well.
8Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8-10 hours.
9To serve, turn to high-heat setting.
10Remove bay leaf.
11Cover and heat till bubbly, 10 minutes.
12Blend cold water slowly into cornstarch; stir into tomato mixture.
13Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
14Spoon over the spaghetti.
15Pass the parmesan cheese to sprinkle atop.----------a good change of pace in spaghetti sauce taste.
