Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbsGround beef
1 eachOnion, large, finely chopped
2 tbspOlive oil or butter
2 eachGarlic, cloves, minced
1 canMushrooms, sliced, drained, 4oz
2 tbspSalt
1/2 tbspNutmeg
1/2 tbspOregano, leaf
1/2 packSpinach, chopped, frozen*
3 tbspFlour
6 eachEggs, beaten
1/4 cupMilk, scalded
1/2 cupCheddar cheese, sharp, grated
Procedures:
1*thawed;drained in skillet, lightly brown ground beef and onion in olive oil; drain well.
2Place in well-greased crock-pot.
3Stir in remaining ingredients except eggs, milk and cheese until well blended.
4Beat eggs and milk together.
5Pour over other ingredients; stir well.
6Dust with additional nutmeg.
7Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 10 hours or until firm.
8Just before serving, sprinkle with grated cheese.
