Blue cheese crisps

Ingredients:
1/2 lbsBlue cheese
10 tbspButter, room temperature
1 1/3 cupAll-purpose flour
1/4 tspCayenne pepper
1/2 cupPoppy seeds
Procedures:
1Preliminaries: adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Procedure: in a food processor fitted with the metal blade, cream together the blue cheese and butter.
3Add the flour and cayenne, processing just to blend.
4Transfer to a bowl and work in the poppy seeds.
5Divide the dough in half, wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
6Roll each dough half into a 1 inch thick cylinder and refrigerate again until very firm, about 2 hours.
7Cut the cylinders into ?inch thick slices.
8Place on ungreased baking sheets and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 17-20 minutes, until golden brown.
9Presentation: serve warm or at room temperature.
10Store in air-tight containers.
