Ingredients:
3 cup[about 10 medium] bananas
1/4 cupLemon juice
1/4 cupFinely chopped maraschino
-cherries
6 1/2 cupSugar
1 Bottle [6 ounces] liquid
-pectin
Procedures:
1Thoroughly mash bananas.
2Measure 3 cups into a large saucepan.
3Add lemon juice, cherries and sugar; mix well.
4Bring to hard rolling boil; boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.
5Remove from heat ;quickly stir in pectin.
6Ladle into clean, hot jars.
7Seal.
8Makes 8 or 9 half-pints.
