Ingredients:
3/4 cupFlour
1 1/2 cupShredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tbspBaking powder
1/2 tbspSalt
1/3 cupMilk
1 Egg, slightly beaten
16 ozCan garbanzos, drained
16 ozCan kidney beans, drained
8 ozTomato sauce
1/2 cupChopped green bell pepper
1/4 cupChopped onion
2 tbspChili powder
1/2 tbspDried oregano leaves
1/4 tbspGarlic powder
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2Grease pie plate, 10 x 1 ?inches.
3Mix flour, ?c cheese, the baking powder and salt in medium bowl.
4Stir in milk and egg until blended.
5Spread over bottom and up sides of pie plate.
6Mix ?c of the remaining cheese and the remaining ingredients; spoon into pie plate.
7Sprinkle with remaining ?c cheese.
8Bake about 25 minutes or until edges are puffy and light brown.
9Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
