Pistachio sugar cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter
1 cupSugar
1 largeEgg
1 tspVanilla
1 1/4 cupSifted flour
1 tspBaking powder
1/4 tspSalt
1/3 cupFinely chopped pistachios
Procedures:
1The whole kitchen will smell wonderful.
2These freeze well if tightly wrapped.
3in a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until soft and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla.
4Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well.
5Chill dough thoroughly.
6preheat oven to 375?
7Roll dough out to ?inch thick on lightly floured board.
8Cut with cookie cutters and arrange on ungreased cookie sheets.
9Sprinkle chopped pistachios on top; press down lightly.
10bake at 375?for about 5 minutes or until edges start to brown.
11Remove to wire racks to cool.
