| 1 | In a small bowl combine flours, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. |
| 2 | In a large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat margarine and brown sugar until well blended. |
| 3 | Beat in egg and vanilla. |
| 4 | With mixer at low speed, gradually beat in flour mixture until well blended. |
| 5 | Wrap dough in plastic wrap or waxed paper; refrigerate at least 1 hour. |
| 6 | On floured pastry clothy with floured rolling pin, roll out dough, 1/3 at a time, to 1/8 inch thickness. |
| 7 | Dip heart cookie cutters into flour. |
| 8 | Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheets. |
| 9 | Bake in preheated 350 degree according to the following times or until lightly browned around edges. |
| 10 | Remove and cool on wire rack. |
| 11 | Decorate as desired. |
| 12 | Yields 36 cookies. |
