Ingredients:
1 xBROWNIES
1/2 cupWater
1 eachEgg
1 tbspVanilla
1/4 cupButter, softened
1 eachEgg
1 tbspVanilla
3 eachChocolate bars, sweet dark/b
1/2 cupSemi-sweet chocolate chips
1/8 tbspEspresso granules, instant
21 ozBrownie mix (1 pkg. pillsbur
1/4 cupOil
2 tbspExpresso granules, instant
1 xFILLING
1/2 cupBrown sugar, firmly packed
2 tbspEspresso granules, instant
1 cupWalnuts, coarsely chopped
1 xGLAZE
1 tbspButter or margarine
1 tbspMilk or whipping cream
Procedures:
1Calories per serving: 160°Fat grams per serving: 9 approx. cook time: 50 cholesterol per serving: 9 heat oven to 350°F.
2Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan.
3In large bowl, combine all brownie ingredients.
4Beat 50 strokes by hand.
5Spread in greased pan.
6Bake at 350f for 30 minutes.
7Remove from oven.
8Meanwhile, in small bowl combine ?c. butter and brown sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
9Add 1 egg, 2 t. coffee granules and 1 t. vanilla; beat until well blended.
10In medium bowl, combine walnuts and chopped chocolate.
11Add brown sugar mixture; blend well.
12Spoon and carefully spread over partially baked brownies.
13Bake an additional 17 to 20 minutes or until light brown.
14In small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and 1 t butter, stirring constantly until smooth.
15Remove from heat.
16With wire whist, stir in 1/8 t. coffee granules and enough milk for drizzling consistency.
17Drizzle over warm brownies.
18Cool completely.
19Cut into bars.
