Ingredients:
1 cupBrown sugar
1/2 cupButter or margarine
4 Eggs, well beaten
4 ozBourbon
3 tspBaking soda, dissolved in
. 3 Tbsp milk
1 lbsPecans, shelled
1/2 lbsRaisins
1 lbsCandied cherries, cut in ?/td>
1 lbsCandied pineapple
1 tspCinnamon
1 tspNutmeg
Ds Salt
3 1/2 cupFlour, sifted
Procedures:
1Cream the margarine and sugar.
2Add the eggs, bourbon and milk mixture.
3Add all the remaining ingredients.
4drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees until brown as desired, about 30 to 40 minutes.
5these cookies keep particularly well when stored in an airtight container.
