Tea cookies from brigitte sealing

Ingredients:
1 cupButter, softened
1/2 cupPowedered Sugar
1 1/2 tspVanilla extract
2 cupFlour
1 dashSalt
1 dashBaking Powder
3/4 cupPecans, finely chopped
Powdered Sugar for dusting
Procedures:
1In a bowl,beat together the butter and the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
2Add vanilla.
3Blend together flour,salt and just the dash of baking powder.
4Add flourmix to buttermix,blend well.
5Add the chopped nuts,combine well.
6Roll the dough out into two balls.wrap in platic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour.
7Flatten dough out and cut into 15-16 equal sized pieces.
8Shape into marble sized balls.
9Place on ungreased cookiesheets.
10Bake at 375-400 °F for 10-12 minutes each sheet until firm but not brown.
11While still warm roll into powdered sugar.
12Let cool and roll in sugar again.
13They store well and are very yummy!!!
