Ingredients:
4 Onions
1 tbspFat (or butter)
1 tbspFlour
2 tbspVinegar
2/3 cupBouillon or 1/3 cup water
With 1/3 cup tomato juice
Salt and pepper
1 lbsCooked beef
Bread crumbs
Procedures:
1Slice onions and brown in fat.
2Add flour and brown.
3Then add vinegar, bouillon or water and tomato juice.
4Cook together until slightly thickened, stirring constantly.
5Season with salt and pepper.
6Simmer sliced or cubed beef in sauce a few minutes.
7Pour into baking dish, sprinkle with crumbs and bake in a hot hoven (400°F) for 10 minutes.
