Ingredients:

| cup | Butter, softened | | 3/4
| cup | Packed brown sugar | | 1/2
| cup | Granulated sugar | | 2
| | Eggs | | 1 1/2
| tbsp | Vanilla | | 3
| cup | All-purpose flour | | 1/2
| cup | Wheat germ | | 2
| tbsp | Baking powder | | 3/4
| tbsp | Baking soda | | 1/2
| tbsp | Salt | | 1/2
| tbsp | Nutmeg | | 1/2
| cup | Milk | | 1
| cup | Raisins |

Procedures:
| 1 | Beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla in large mixer bowl. | | 2 | Combine flour, wheat germ, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nutmeg in medium bowl. | | 3 | Add to butter mixture alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition. | | 4 | Stir in raisins. | | 5 | Drop dough by teaspoonfuls, 2" apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. | | 6 | Bake in 350°F. | | 7 | Oven 10-12 minutes or until light brown. | | 8 | Immediately remove to wire racks to cool. | | 9 | Makes about 7 dozen cookies. |
