Ingredients:
3 eachEgg whites, at room temp
1/4 tspCream of tartar OR
1 tspVinegar, white
1 tspVanilla extract
3/4 cupSugar, granulated
1/4 cupChoc. Chips, Semisweet, sm.
Procedures:
1In mixer bowl beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
2Add cream of tartar and vanilla extract; beat until stiff peaks form.
3Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating after each addition.
4Fold in chocolate chips.
5Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased foil-lined cookie sheet and bake in preheated 250 degree oven 25 minutes.
6Turn off oven and leave cookies 30 minutes more.
7Outsides will be hard; insides will be slightly soft.
