Ingredients:
1 1/4 cupSugar
2 cupRolled oats
2 cupFlour
1 tspBaking powder
1 tspSalt
1 1/4 cupShortening
1/2 tspBaking soda
1/2 cupBoiling water
2 cupBran flakes
Procedures:
1Add soda to boiling water and let stand until cool.
2Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, bran flakes, rolled oats and sugar.
3Cut in shortening; add water and soda.
4Roll outthin on a floured board.
5Bake in hot oven until golden brown.
