Pecan crisps

Ingredients:
2 Egg whites
1 pinchCream of tartar
1/4 cupBrown sugar, lightly packed
1/2 tspVanilla
1/3 cupChopped pecans
1 cupRice cereal
Procedures:
1Line baking sheets with brown paper.
2Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
3Add sugar gradually, then vanilla; beat until stiff peaks form.
4Fold in pecans and rice cereal.
5Drop 1 tbsp batter at a time 2 inches apart onto prepared baking hseets.
6Bake in a 325°F oven for 20 minute or until firm.
7Turn off oven and leave cookies in for ?hour longer to dry.
8Remove from the oven and cool.
9Peel cookies from paper when cooled.
10Makes 18 cookies.
