| 15 | Wrap the rolls in waxed paper and chill 2 to 24 hours. |
| 16 | Cut dough into ? thick slices. |
| 17 | Place on ungreased cookie sheets. |
| 18 | Bake in a 375°F. |
| 19 | Oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till edges are firm and bottoms are light brown. |
| 20 | Remove cookies and cool on wire racks. |
| 21 | Beat together egg white and water; brush over warm cookies. |
| 22 | Sprinkle with crushed peppermint candy. |
