| 1 | Preheat oven to 400°F. |
| 2 | Cream confectioners" sugar and butter in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed. |
| 3 | Beat in egg yolks, vanilla and almond extracts. |
| 4 | Combine flour and salt. |
| 5 | Add to butter mixture; mix well. |
| 6 | Tint dough with food color, if desired. |
| 7 | Place dough in cookie press fitted with plate. |
| 8 | Load press with dough. |
| 9 | Press onto ungreased cookie sheets, about 2" apart. |
| 10 | Decorate as desired. |
| 11 | Bake 6-8 minutes or until very slightly browned around edges. |
| 12 | Remove to wire racks to cool. |
| 13 | makes about 6 ?dozen cookies. |
