Pecan tossies

Ingredients:
3 ozCream cheese
1/2 cupButter
1 cupFlour
1 Egg
3/4 cupBrown sugar
1 tbspSoft butter
1 tspVanilla
1 dashSalt
3/4 cupPecans, chopped
Procedures:
1Let cream cheese and butter soften at room temp.
2Blend.
3Stir in flour.
4Chill slightly for about an hour.
5Shape into 24 1" balls.
6Press each into ungrased muffin tins against bottom and sides to form tart crusts.
7Chill while mixing filling.
8Beat together egg, sugar, 1tb butter, vanilla and salt until smooth.
9Devide half the pecans and place in pastry cups.
10Add egg mixture.
11Top with remaining pecans.
12Bake in slow oven (325) for 25 minutes until set.
13Cool and remove from pans.
