| 1 | Mix fruit and nuts together in a large bowl. |
| 2 | Cream butter and sugars together and then add salt, vanilla and eggs. |
| 3 | Beat well. |
| 4 | Mix the soda with a small amount of flour and add to the above mixture. |
| 5 | Gradually add the remainder of the flour. |
| 6 | Then stir in the fruit and nuts. |
| 7 | Cool in the refrigerator. |
| 8 | Then form into 4 rolls. |
| 9 | Wrap in waxed paper. |
| 10 | Store in refrigerator or freezer until ready to use. |
| 11 | Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes. |
