Recipe rescue low fat brandy snaps

Ingredients:
1/4 cupPacked brown sugar
1/4 cupDark corn syrup
1/4 cupBrandy
2 tbspUnsalted butter
2 tbspCanola oil
2 tspMolasses
1/4 tspGinger
1/4 tspCinnamon
2/3 cupAll-purpose white flour
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 400.
2Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
3In a sauce pan, combine all the ingredients except the flour and bring to a boil for 1 min over med. heat.
4Remove from heat and let cool 1 min. whisk in flour until smooth.
5Drop heaping teaspoons of batter 4" apart onto the baking sheets.
6Bake for 6 to 8 min. cool 1 min; with a metal spatula remove the cookies and wrap them around a wooden spoon handle.
7When the cookies are firm transfer to wire racks.
