Ingredients:
| 3/4
| cup | Oats, Quick-cooking Rolled | | 6
| oz | Chocolate Chips, Semisweet | | 6
| tbsp | Butter Or Margarine | | 1/2
| cup | Brown Sugar, Packed | | | 2 ea Eggs, Large | | 1
| tbsp | Vanilla | | 3/4
| cup | Flour, Unbleached | | 1/2
| cup | Raisins | | 1/4
| tbsp | Baking Soda | | 1/4
| tbsp | Salt |

Procedures:
| 1 | Sprinkle 2 t of the oats over bottom of greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; set aside. | | 2 | In saucepan melt chocolate and butter over low heat; stir constantly. | | 3 | Remove from heat; blend in sugar. | | 4 | Beat in eggs and vanilla. | | 5 | Stir together flour, remaining oats, raisins, soda and salt; stir into chocolate mixture. | | 6 | Spoon into prepared pan. | | 7 | Bake at 325 °F. | | 8 | About 30 minutes. | | 9 | Cool; cut into bars. | | 10 | makes 24 brownies. |
