Ingredients:

| lbs | Ground lamb | | 1
| large | Can whole tomatoes | | 1
| large | Head of cabbage cut up | | 1
| large | Onion, chopped | | 1 1/2
| tbsp | Oil | | | Salt to taste | | | Dash of pepper |

Procedures:
| 1 | Simmer onion in oil. | | 2 | Add meat and brown. | | 3 | Add salt and pepper and tomatoes. | | 4 | Let cook until meat is done. | | 5 | Cut up cabbage and continue cooking about 20 minutes or longer. | | 6 | Add a little boiling water if more liquid is needed. | | 7 | Do not overcook cabbage. | | 8 | If desired, make a thickening: brown about 1 tablespoon flour with a small spoonful of oil. | | 9 | Add a little chopped onion |
