Chewy macaroons

Ingredients:
2 Egg whites, room temperature
1/2 tspVanilla (or almond) extract
2 tbspFlour
1/2 cupSugar
1/4 tspSalt
2 cupFlaked coconut
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2Lightly grease and flour 2 large cookie sheets, set aside.
3In large mixing bowl, beat egg whites until stiff but not dry.
4Beat in vanilla.
5Mix together remaining ingredients, fold into egg whites.
6Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets 2 inches apart.
7Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
8Cool slightly, then remove.
