Cheddar box chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients:
1 cupLightly salted butter
1 cupDark brown sugar
3/4 cupSugar
3/4 tspVanilla
2 Eggs
2 cupFlour
1/2 tspSalt
1 tspBaking soda
1 1/2 cupCoarsely chopped, toasted
-pecans
3 cupSemi-sweet chocolate chips
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Toast pecans for 3-5 minutes.
3Cream butter, sugar and vanilla.
4Mix well.
5Add eggs, flour, salt and baking soda.
6Mix.
7Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
8Use ?cup measure and drop batter onto ungreased cookie sheet.
9Bake for 18-20 minutes.
10Cool on the cookie sheet.
11Makes 29 cookies.
