Carrot fruit jumbles

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cupFlour
1 tspSoda
1/2 tspBaking powder
1/2 tspGround cloves
2 tspGround cinnamon
1/4 tspSalt
1 cupQuick oats
3/4 cupDark brown sugar, packed
3/4 cupWhite sugar
1 cupSoftened, salted butter
2 largeEggs
2 tspVanilla
2 cupGrated carrots
1/2 cupCrushed pineapple
1 cupChopped walnuts
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350.
2In a medium bowl combine the flour, soda, baking powder, cloves, cinnamon, salt, and oats.
3Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside.
4In a large bowl with an electric mixer, blend the sugars.
5Add the butter and mix to form a grainy paste.
6Scrape down sides of bowl.
7Add the eggs and vanilla and beat on medium speed till light and fluffy.
8Add the carrots, pineapple, and nuts and mix till blended.
9Batter will appear lumpy.
10Add the flour mixture and blend on low speed just till combined.
11Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, 1-?inches apart.
12Bake for 13-15 minutes, taking care not to brown cookies.
13Transfer immediately to a cool, flat surface with a spatula.
