Caramel filled chocolate bars

Ingredients:
1 German Chocolate cake mix
3/4 cupMargarine, melted
14 ozBag caramels
2/3 cupEvaporated milk, divided
1 cupChocolate chips
1 cupWalnuts, chopped
Procedures:
1Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk over hot water or in microwave, stirring every thirty seconds.
2Keep warm.
3mix the cake mix, margarine and 1/3 cup evaporated milk and beat well.
4Spread ?the batter in a greased 9x13 inch pan.
5Bake for 6 minutes at 350 degrees.
6Cool about 2 minutes.
7Spread caramel mixture over baked layer and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
8Stir ?cup nuts into remaining ?of batter and drop by half teaspoonsful over top.
9Sprinkle with remaining ?cup nuts.
10Return to oven and bake for 18 minutes at 350 degrees.
11Cool in pan and cut into 1 ?inch squares.
