| 1 | Preheat oven to 350 degrees. |
| 2 | Grease a 9x15-inch jelly-roll pan. |
| 3 | In a large bowl, combine melted margarine and brown sugar. |
| 4 | Cool. |
| 5 | Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. |
| 6 | Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. |
| 7 | Add to creamed mixture; beat well. |
| 8 | Stir in nuts and chocolate chips and blend thoroughly. |
| 9 | Pour into prepared pan. |
| 10 | Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until bars test done. |
| 11 | Cool bars in pan 20 minutes before cutting into squares. |
