Ingredients:
3/4 cupLow ft margarine, room temp
1 cupWhite sugar
1/2 cupPacked brown sugar
2 eachEgg whites, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cupAll purpose flour
1 tspBaking soda
1 tspGround cinnamon
1/4 tspGround nutmeg
1 1/2 cupOats, uncooked
1 cupRaisins
1 tspVanilla
Procedures:
1In a large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugars until light and fluffy.
2Add egg whites.
3In a medium size bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg; add to sugar mixture.
4Stir in oats, raisins and vanilla.
5Chill 1 hour.
6Preheat oven 350°F.
7Roll a teaspoon of dough into a ball and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
8Grease the bottom of a glass with margarine, dip glass in sugar and use to flatten ball of dough.
9Continue, leaving adequate space between cookies.
10Bake 10 min. cool on racks.
11Cal: 61, fat: 1 g.
