Ingredients:
2 Egg whites
1/2 cupSugar
1/2 tspVinegar
1/2 tspVanilla
1 cupChocolate chips
3/4 cupChopped walnuts or pecans
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Beat egg whites until foamy.
3Slowly add sugar, one tablespoonful at a time, beating after each addition until the meringues stand in stiff peaks.
4Stir in vinegar and vanilla.
5Fold in chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
6Drop by teaspoonfuls on prepared baking sheets.
7Bake for 10 minutes.
8With a spatula, remove meringues immediately and place on a wire rack to cool.
9Makes 3 dozen
