Anzac biscuits (cookies)

Ingredients:
1 cupPlain flour
1 1/2 cupRolled Oats
3/4 cupDessicated Coconut
3/4 cupSugar
2 tspGround ginger
1/4 lbsButter
4 tspGolden Syrup
1 tspBicarbonate of soda
Procedures:
1Mix flour, rolled oats, coconut and sugar together in bowl.
2Melt butter over low heat with golden syrup.
3When this is melted add the bicarb soda and stir until it froths up.
4As soon as this happens add it to the dry ingredient put on baking tray in one teaspoon quantities and flatten lightly.
5Prick with a fork.
6Leave plenty of space between as these do spread quote a bit.
7Bake in a very slow oven as they burn easily
