Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter
2 tbspMolasses
2 eachEggs
1 cupGround toasted almonds
1/2 tspGrated lemon rind
1 tspAlmond extract
1/2 cupAmaretto
2 cupWhole wheat pastry flour
Procedures:
1Cream together butter and molasses.
2Add eggs, ground almonds, lemon rind and almond extract; mix well.
3Stir in amaretto alternately with flour.
4Drop by teaspoonsful onto unoiled cookie sheets.
5Bake at 350 °F for 12-15 minutes.
6Cookies will be golden brown when done.
7Makes 36 cookies
