Ingredients:
1/2 cupBrown rice
1/2 cupKasha
1/2 cupMillet, whole
1 cupArame
1 tbspOnion flakes, dehydrated
1 tspGarlic flakes, deydrated
3 1/2 cupVegetable stock or water
-boiling
2 Carrots, sliced into thin
-rings
1 cupGarden peas
1 cupDaikon, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbspOil or soy margarine
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2rinse and spread rice,kasha an dmillet in a roasting pan.
3Roast 5 to 7 minutes, until grains are dry.
4soak arame for about 15 minutes in enough water to cover.
5Drain an dadd to grains.
6mix together onion, garlic and stock.stir into grains.
7cover and bake 25 minutes or unil liquid is almost absorbed.
8while grains are cooking, steam carrots, adding peas when carrots are almost done.
9Steam vegetables until tender, not mushy.
10when grains are almost dry, add carrots, epas, daikon and seasonings.
11Bake 4 to 5 minutes longer.
12remove, stir in oil and serve.
