Ingredients:
1 lbsItalian sausage, mild
-cut into 1-inch slices
1 Onion, lg. -chopped
2 Apples, peeled and quartered
1 canSauerkraut, 27oz, undrained
1 cup-water
1/2 cupBrown sugar, packed
2 tspCaraway seed
Procedures:
1In a skillet, cook sausage and onion until sausage is brown and onion is tender; drain.
2Stir in apples, sauerkraut, water, brown sugar and caraway seed.
3Transfer to a 2-?quart baking dish.
4Cover and bake at 350f for 1 hour.
5Garnish with snipped parsley if desired.
