Ingredients:

| lbs | Spareribs | | 1
| | Bottle catsup ==OR== 1 | | | - 15 oz can tomato sauce | | 2
| tbsp | Brown sugar ==OR== syrup | | 2
| tbsp | Worcestershire sauce | | 2
| tbsp | Flour | | 1
| tbsp | Hot dry mustard | | 1
| tbsp | Chili powder | | 1
| tsp | Ground cloves | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1/2
| tsp | Pepper | | 1
| med | Can crushed pineapple |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cut ribs into sections of two bones each. | | 2 | Grease a pan with oil. | | 3 | Mix together catsup, brown sugar, and worcestershire sauce. | | 4 | Mix together flour, mustard, chili powder, cloves, salt and pepper. | | 5 | Combine dry and liquid mixtures with crushed pineapple. | | 6 | Lay meat in layers in a pan, with some sauce in between, then top all with remaining sauce. | | 7 | Bake at 300 °F for 1 hour or until done. | | 8 | Brown under broiler, turning pieces over to brown both sides. | | 9 | Watch carefully and do not allow sauce to burn. | | 10 | In fact, it"s best to remove the sauce until ribs are browned, and then spread it over the ribs after browning |
