Ingredients:
1 cupGrits
4 cupWater
2 Garlic clove, pressed
1/4 lbsButter
1/2 lbsCheddar, grated
3 Egg
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Parmesan
Paprika
Jalapeno pepper, (opt)
Procedures:
1Cook grits in water seasoned with garlic and salt according to package.
2Remove from heat.
3Add butter and stir to dissolve.
4Add cheddar chese, holding back a good handful to garnish.
5Now add eggs and mix completely.
6Salt and pepper to taste.
7Place in a buttered 2-quart baking pan.
8Sprinkle remaining cheddar on top.
9Sprinkle top with a generous amount of parmesan, dust with paprika, garnish with jalapenos and bake, uncovered, in a 300 degree oven for 45 minutes.
