Ingredients:
6 Yams or sweet potatoes, med
4 tbspButter or margarine
1/3 cupBrown sugar, firmly packed
3 tbspRum or orange juice
1/2 cupRaisins
Procedures:
1Boil whole yams 20 to 40 minutes or until tender but not mushy.
2Drain and cool, then cut into ?inch thick slices.
3Arrange slices, overlapping, in a buttered shallow casserole.
4Dot with butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar and raisins.
5Drizzle with rum.
6Bake uncovered at 350 or until bubbly and glazed.
