Ingredients:
2 cupVegetable or chicken stock
-or water
1/4 tspSalt
1 cupPot or pearl barley
Procedures:
1Basics for new cooks:
2in saucepan, bring water and salt to boil over high heat; stir in barley.
3Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 40 minutes or until tender and liquid has evaporated.
4Makes about 3 cups, or 4 servings.
